  Verbal Speech

Have you ever wondered why we humans are not really good at making decisions instantly without second guessing or even though we might have made the wrong choice? I don’t see any problem with that. I feel like before making any decision concerning your life you need to digest your choice like thinking over it especially when it’s something important in your life. I would talk to you about one topic that some students second guessed or maybe being forced to make a choice that wasn’t there which is the choice between going to college or trade school after High school diploma. I found it very ironic why we make choices that have the same outcome for you. It’s not an easy choice at all to make because there is no right or wrong choice, only the one that fits you.

I would tell you how I experienced my choices. I am a nosy guy who listens to some people’s discussion . I am not a peeker, don’t think about it. I was someone who has the mindset that trade school is trash there is no way I would go there and then my sister says, “Are you thinking about the fact that college is a long term and a lot of people drop out because of that?” I didn’t answer because I didn’t need to at that time. Then I went to bed and said wait a minute we all are different especially when it comes to the factor of your education people have used different skills to succeed. Shouldn’t I do research about trade school or even look at the pros and cons about both choices before throwing any word and I did. It helped me to see the difference between both choices then make a decision.

However, when it comes to stress  you talk to someone. I understand you are shy, you don’t want people to mind your business but we all have someone we talk to whenever we are dealing with something bigger. Also you might not share for a reason that you could get criticized  because it seems to them a ridiculous choice to ask someone help with. Don’t look down, still ask the question you want. It’s going to kill to hear what they say,if they don’t seem to be someone who is going to help you move on to the next one maybe will be the person to help you with it. I heard once my mother say to me “you are so stubborn that once you make up your mind anyone one can talk to you”t. But I say that isn’t a good thing. Thinking about it, what a lot of people do nowadays,  talk to you to change your choice because it doesn’t seem right in their eyes. Sometimes, stubborn pay in this word. I am asking for your help doesn’t mean that I am choosing  your response. One of the biggest problems in making decisions is when your parents are being forced to make decisions that weren’t your plan. It’s a tough position that most parents put their child into because if you don’t listen to them they think of you as someone you are not. Parents  Should let their child  make their own choice and hope that they choose what’s good for him/her.

Moreover, being forced to make a decision can also reveal a person’s resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. It presents an opportunity to demonstrate courage and determination in the face of adversity. While the process may be challenging, it can ultimately lead to personal growth and self-discovery. whether decisions are made voluntarily or under duress, they play a significant role in shaping our lives. By approaching forced decisions with a calm and rational mindset, individuals can navigate challenging situations effectively and emerge stronger. The ability to make decisions, even in difficult circumstances, is a valuable skill that contributes to personal development and growth. Students should make their own decision whether to go to college or trade school. That choice will definitely make a big impact in their future so let the person decide.

In essence, the decision to attend college or trade school should be based on a thoughtful consideration of individual goals, interests, and circumstances to ensure the best possible outcomes in terms of career success and personal fulfillment. Both choices have the same purpose, which is to help you succeed in your career but both options have their own path to succeed. Why don’t you let them make it and show full support.
